Job Summary
This position serves as the coordinator of assessment for university-wide teacher education at Illinois State University. All teacher education programs are assessed annually and undergo assessment for national recognition and University accreditation. This position will team with the Lauby Teacher Education staff and teacher education program coordinators to assist in data analysis and reporting of key University-wide teacher education clinical assessments.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$55,000 - $60,000 annual, combined with an excellent benefit package
Required Qualifications
1. Master's or equivalent degree
2. Three years (36 months) of experience working in teacher education
3. Significant experience in/with the following:
a. Licensure based Teacher Education Assessments
b. using data for program review, assessment and improvement
c. using software for data development and management in teacher education
4. The following skills and abilities:
a. strong problem-solving skills
b. high level of written or oral communication proficiency
c. high level of public relations and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous experience with accreditation or SPA processes
2. Professional/technical knowledge related to national and state accreditation and annual reporting systems
3. Supervision of student teachers or direct teacher candidate support
Work Hours
Core Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
